Theia was the Titan goddess of shining and light, associated with all that glimmers. She endowed gold, silver, other metals, and gems with their radiance and intrinsic value.
This rugged but dainty ring really does glimmer in the light! The light dances over the surface of the textured silver and completely lights up the rose cut 5mm White Opal! It almost glows in the light!
Opal is said to enhances cosmic consciousness and induces psychic and mystical visions. It stimulates originality and creativity. Helps to release anger and claim self worth, aiding in accessing and expressing one's true self. Opal strengthens memory and is also the birthstone for October.
The beautiful opal is formed from rain. There is some conjecture on how exactly this precious gemstone forms, but many believe it is formed when water from rain seeps down into crevasses in the rock. Once the water evaporates, the silica that is left behind dries out and hardens into precious opal.
